Marina Polta is a renowned cosmetologist, international beauty trainer, entrepreneur, and the founder of the personal brand Milessenta. Having overcome extraordinary life challenges, she has built a successful career in Dubai while inspiring millions of women through her message of resilience, confidence, and feminine empowerment. In this interview, Marina shares the experiences and values that continue to shape both her personal journey and professional mission.
1. Your journey has taken you from profound personal challenges to building a successful life and career in Dubai. What inner qualities helped you transform adversity into ambition?
I don’t think I ever had the option to give up. My childhood taught me very early that life can change overnight. Losing my father, losing my brother, living in a refugee camp, and starting over in different countries—those experiences could have broken me, but instead they taught me resilience.
I learned that nobody is coming to save you. You either become stronger, or you stay where your circumstances leave you. I chose to keep moving. Every obstacle became another reason to prove—to myself more than anyone else—that my past would never define my future.
Today, when people see my success, they often don’t realize it was built on thousands of moments when I simply refused to quit.
2. As Milessenta, you have built a personal brand that resonates with millions of women. What do you believe makes your message so deeply relatable today?
I never created Milessenta to portray a perfect life. I created it to show the reality of being a real woman.
I speak about beauty, femininity, relationships, self-worth, financial independence, red flags, healing, and personal growth because these are experiences shared by women everywhere, regardless of where they live. I don’t pretend to have a flawless life—I openly share my mistakes, the lessons I’ve learned, and the mindset that helped me overcome them.
I believe women connect with authenticity. They don’t need another influencer pretending everything is perfect. They want someone who reminds them that it is possible to become stronger, more successful, and still remain feminine, compassionate, and true to yourself.
3. You are currently developing your own premium peptide skincare brand. What gap in today’s beauty market are you hoping to fill with this project?
After more than fifteen years of working directly with thousands of patients, I’ve noticed one recurring problem: too many skincare products promise everything but deliver very little.
I wanted to create a skincare line based on science rather than marketing—products formulated with effective concentrations of active ingredients, premium peptides, and evidence-based formulas that I would confidently recommend to my own patients.
My goal is not simply to launch another beauty brand. I want to bridge the gap between aesthetic medicine and everyday skincare, helping people achieve healthier skin through education, consistency, and ingredients that truly deliver results.
4. How has your professional background as a beauty expert and international trainer shaped the way you approach product development, education, and women’s empowerment?
Working in aesthetics for more than fifteen years has taught me that beauty is never just about appearance. Behind every treatment is a woman who wants to feel confident again.
Being an international trainer has shown me that education is just as important as the treatment itself. When women understand their skin, they make informed decisions instead of chasing trends.
That philosophy influences everything I do—from developing skincare products to creating educational content. I don’t want women to become dependent on me. I want them to become educated, confident, financially independent, and empowered to make choices that improve both their lives and their self-esteem.
For me, beauty has always been about giving women confidence—not creating insecurity.
