On 1 May 2026, London Fashion Day returned to St John’s Church, Hyde Park, opening its seventh season in one of London’s most atmospheric cultural spaces.
The day began with a sense of calm and intention. Rather than positioning fashion only as spectacle, Season 7 placed the focus on people – their identities, emotions and creative voices. It was a season shaped by presence, connection and the idea that clothing can communicate what words sometimes cannot.
London Fashion Day has become an international platform for emerging designers and independent fashion voices. This season continued that mission while introducing a more introspective direction: fashion as a language beyond geography, beyond spoken words and beyond fixed identity.
The concept was first expressed through the season’s campaign, created at sunrise in central London. Iranian model Amirsam Mohammadzadeh appeared in a look by Ukrainian brand YADVIGA NETYKSHA, forming a visual dialogue between cultures, personal journeys and creative expression.
The look carried a sense of contrast. Transparent fabrics revealed the body while the face remained covered, questioning the relationship between visibility and protection. The result was a study of how clothing can both conceal and reveal, allowing individuality to emerge in a more emotional and human way.
For Season 7, authenticity became the central message.
Founder and Producer Kostiantyn Lieontiev reflected on the idea behind the season:
“No matter how much we search for perfection in style, trends, or fashion directions, at the centre of it all there is always a person – their individuality, their identity.
Clothing becomes an amplifier of taste – something that reveals what exists within us and gives us confidence.
This season, we wanted to shift the focus back to people. To who we are, how different we all are, and yet how deeply connected we remain through a shared desire – to live in one world and to create beauty together.”
The runway programme opened with the LCCA Showcase, presenting emerging designers from the London College of Contemporary Arts. The day continued with collections by Brera Milano, Anabelle Clothing, Amira, RICKY XTOPHA, Olimzoda Mahin, LEV3L UP, KEKA, Atelier Pardis, Mur Mur, Riri Couture and Gorsset.
Together, the designers created a varied programme of visual languages, from refined silhouettes to expressive contemporary statements. Each presentation added another layer to the season’s wider conversation about identity, belonging and creative freedom.
Around the runway, London Fashion Day continued as a space of exchange. Designers, guests, media and creatives connected through interviews, backstage moments, networking and content creation, turning the venue into an active environment for contemporary fashion culture.
