Meet Kamile Spann, a model-turned-philanthropist whose journey from Lithuania to Switzerland reflects a profound evolution in priorities and passions. From gracing fashion magazine covers to her commitment to charity, Kamile shares insights into family, personal growth, and timeless style in this exclusive interview.
Kamile, you started your modeling career at 16, and now you are constantly on the covers of fashion magazines. How do you define your priorities in life, and how have they changed over time?
My main priority is my family. Achievements in career and business are the results of hard work over time. In the last few years, I have experienced an absolute inner transformation. I feel like my past self didn’t truly exist. I was closed off; I couldn’t be myself.
You grew up in Lithuania and now live in Switzerland, paying a lot of attention to philanthropy. How do you choose the charity projects you participate in, and what is important to you in these initiatives?
I have noticed that in Switzerland, people often donate because of status or refrain from donating because they are very frugal. Growing up in Lithuania, I saw many people living modestly, so I understand what it’s like when someone needs help. I began working with charitable organizations when I was invited to contribute to a project in Monaco by a woman who shares my attitude. For me, the most important thing is to inspire people with great opportunities and to foster empathy.
You became a mother at 21 and happily immersed yourself in motherhood, putting your career on the back burner. Your little one accompanies you to all events. When your son grows up, how will you explain to him the importance of charity and caring for others?
I feel very fortunate to have him. When it comes to raising a child, I rely on the advice of psychologists; I ask questions and constantly learn. I’m genuinely interested in child psychology. It’s important to me that he grows up in a free and supportive environment where he can develop a positive attitude towards life.
What place does writing occupy in your life, and what topics are especially close to you?
I joke that I have a journalistic gene by nature. I have hundreds of notebooks and love writing by hand. I think I will implement this as a great idea in the future.
What goals do you set for yourself in the coming years? What is your greatest motivation in life and how do you maintain this level of motivation?
I have numerous goals, as I always have. I’ve already accomplished some of them, and you’ll see more soon. My greatest motivation is my son and striving to better myself every day. Motivation isn’t consistent, although we wish it were. Our discipline and maintaining our health can remain steadfast.
How have your personal style and fashion preferences evolved from the beginning of your career to the present day?
I’ve come to realize that I’m only drawn to trends when they resonate with me personally. My style tends to lean towards timeless classics—silhouettes that flatter me and make me feel my best.
