Magdalena Kucharska

Blending medicine, entrepreneurship, marketing, and the world of fashion, Magdalena Kucharska has built a career defined by the ability to connect expertise with impact. As the founder of M for Medics and a manager at Potocki Clinic, she is shaping a new approach to healthcare decision-making by bringing leading medical experts closer to business. In this interview, Magdalena shares the vision behind M for Medics, the experiences that shaped her leadership, and her ambitions for the future of healthcare.

1. Magdalena, your career brings together medicine, entrepreneurship, modeling, and marketing. How have these different worlds shaped the way you approach leadership and business today?

I think these different worlds have taught me one very important thing: expertise alone is not enough — you also need to know how to communicate it, position it, and turn it into impact.

As a manager at Potocki Clinic, an aesthetic medicine clinic, I am directly involved in identifying and recruiting physicians, building the medical team, and overseeing the clinic’s marketing and brand development. This has given me a very practical understanding of something that later became central to M for Medics: the right medical expert can fundamentally change the quality of a business and the decisions behind it.

Medicine taught me responsibility and the value of evidence. Entrepreneurship taught me to identify real problems and build solutions around them. Modeling taught me confidence, discipline, and the power of communication and personal branding.

Today, I bring all of these perspectives together. For me, modern leadership is about connecting the right expertise, the right people, and the right communication — and turning them into measurable value.

2. What inspired you to create M for Medics, and what gap in the healthcare industry did you recognize that led to the idea of connecting companies with world-class medical experts?

I saw a very simple but expensive problem: healthcare companies make extremely important decisions, yet the right medical expertise often enters the process too late.

A company may be developing a product, entering a new market, evaluating an investment, or changing a medical service, but the people making those decisions do not always have direct access to physicians who understand what actually happens in clinical practice.

That is why I created M for Medics. We are building medical decision infrastructure: companies bring us a high-stakes question, we identify the right specialists, organize a structured and confidential expert process, and translate their medical judgment into actionable business intelligence.

The idea is simple: before you make an expensive healthcare decision, ask the people who understand its medical consequences best.

3. Through M for Medics, you work with leading physicians, including experts affiliated with Harvard. How do you transform highly specialized medical knowledge into practical insights that companies can confidently act on?

That transformation is really at the core of M for Medics.

Companies do not need another hundred pages of medical information. They need to understand: What does this mean for our decision? What are we missing? Where is the risk? And what should we do next?

We select experts specifically for each question rather than creating generic advisory boards. We then structure the discussion around the business decision and synthesize different medical perspectives into a clear output — for example, a Medical Consensus Report, Risk and Assumption Map, or Decision Validation Summary.

The value is not simply access to impressive names. The real value is turning senior medical judgment into intelligence that executives can actually use.

4. As an international model and winner of the Miss Power Woman title, how has your experience in the fashion industry influenced your approach to personal branding, communication, and professional confidence?

Modeling taught me very early that people often form an impression before you have the opportunity to explain who you are. That made me understand how important communication, presence, and positioning are.

But I also learned that image can open a door — it cannot build a serious business for you.

Today, I use that experience differently. I understand how to communicate an idea clearly, how to build trust around a brand, and how to make complex concepts more accessible.

I think one of my strengths is that I am comfortable moving between very different environments — from medicine and healthcare executives to fashion, media, and marketing — and I know how to adapt my communication without losing the substance behind the message.

5. Looking ahead, what is your vision for the future of M for Medics, and what impact would you like to make at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and business?

My ambition is for M for Medics to become a trusted layer of medical intelligence behind major healthcare decisions.

I want to build a highly curated global network where the right physicians can contribute their expertise to important business decisions privately, independently, and at the moment when their judgment can have the greatest impact.

Over time, I see M for Medics developing a unique intelligence layer based on recurring expert insights across specialties, markets, products, and clinical practice. This can help companies identify risks and opportunities before they become obvious to the wider market.

My experience managing Potocki Clinic has shown me firsthand how much value comes from identifying the right medical talent, understanding physicians, and then building the right strategy and communication around their expertise. M for Medics takes that insight to a much larger scale.

Ultimately, I see my career as connecting worlds that are rarely brought together: medicine, entrepreneurship, marketing, and modeling. Medicine brings credibility and knowledge, business turns knowledge into value, marketing gives it a voice, and modeling taught me how powerful that voice can become when it is communicated with confidence.
