Model, creative director, and visual storyteller Glenda Bocchi embodies a rare blend of cultures and emotions. With Brazilian warmth, Italian sensitivity, and Spanish passion, she transforms everything she touches into visual poetry. Glenda reflects on her creative evolution — from her early modeling days to her journey as an artist who creates not just images, but emotions.
Your success story began with modelling and evolved into creative direction. How has your multicultural background — Brazilian, Spanish, and Italian roots — influenced your visual language and artistic taste? And how do you manage to stay authentic and true to your artistic vision amid external expectations?
Everything happened naturally. When you do what you love, effort combined with good results becomes the motivation to move forward. The diversity of cultures opens the door to an infinite world — it’s fascinating to be able to explore all of it.
Constant evolution is essential. Adapting to the digital era has become part of daily life — time feels shorter, and keeping up with all these platforms has turned into an ongoing study.
We live in an age driven by consumption; maintaining authenticity has become increasingly rare. That’s why staying grounded in what you feel and believe is so important — it’s where true creation begins.
Looking back at your modelling years, which photoshoot or campaign was the most defining for you, and why?
Having the opportunity to see the world in all its shades and colours feels like a blessing. Those moments were not only captured in photographs but also engraved in my memory and heart.
It’s difficult to choose just one, but what I can say is that I am deeply grateful — for every experience, every person, and every place that became part of this incredible journey.
Art and fashion are both forms of storytelling. What kind of stories do you want your images or creative concepts to tell the world?
Working with creativity means having permission to go beyond the conventional.
Awakening a feeling, a memory, or a thought are sacred moments that deserve care and sensitivity. To create with the soul is to make the invisible felt — to let imagination take form through emotion.
I care about feeling. I believe that when you truly feel, you remember.
Who or what inspires you the most right now — in art, photography, or fashion?
My inspiration is a mosaic of everything I’ve lived — the places I’ve visited, the people I’ve met, the scents, the emotions, and all the moments that marked me.
It’s this mix of experiences that makes inspiration infinite.
